A woman was left confused after waking to find a stranger in her kitchen and a potato in her microwave. The man had entered the unlocked home in the US state of New Mexico, and presumably fancied a snack before getting on his way. https://twitter.com/M_Hedberg/status/596707582246391808 According to AP, the man - named as Patrick Lynn Waits - also stole a set of car keys from the house. He has been charged with burglary and unlawful entry. When confronted by the resident and asked what he was doing, he simply said "making a potato", as if the other person was the weird one. He then proceeded to leave the food in the microwave and go outside to rake leaves in the garden. In the context of everything else, that part doesn't even sound strange.
