photos of a 20-foot shark before - but now we have video evidence of one swimming in the Mexican Pacific.
It was posted on Facebook by Mauricio Hoyos Padilla who works for Pelagios-Kakunja - 'a non-profit organization that seeks to understand movements and migratory patterns of marine top predators'.
A statement accompanying the video claims that the pregnant great white - named Deep Blue - is the largest shark ever caught on video.
Padilla estimates that based on her size of over 20ft, Deep Blue is 'at least' 50-years-old.
This is the second time Padilla has posted a video of Deep Blue on his Facebook page, as he hopes the videos will encourage people to support the conservation efforts of his team.
