Tradespeople are the best in bed thanks to 'skilled hands', study reveals

A recent survey has confirmed the suspicion that tradespeople and other blue-collar workers make the best lovers, which kind of makes sense - they are skilled with their hands, after all. Materials Market, a business connecting professional and hobbyist builders with materials suppliers, surveyed 2,000 people of varied backgrounds to answer the age-old question: which jobs produce the nation's top sexual performers. They found that 74 per cent of tradespeople are more 'skilled' with their hands, compared to the 26 per cent of people who work in other professions. Here are their top 10:

10. Accountant

While accountants from shows like The Office hardly scream sexual prowess, this finance-focused career took the tenth spot. However, given that their jobs focus on data and numbers, we guess accountants are experts at making sure everyone leaves the business meeting satisfied.

9. Personal Trainer

This one should really need no explanation given that most personal trainers are in peak physical condition. Hours of grinding in the gym have fashioned their bodies into sex machines, so make sure you drink a Red Bull; you're going to need the energy.

8. Plumber

When someone is used to laying pipe all day, it should be a given that those skills transfer into the bedroom. Though plumber's crack is far from appealing, the job ranking at number eight certainly paints a prettier picture for plumbers nationwide.

7. Architect

Designing structures might not be the sexiest job on paper but you'd be forgetting how much care and attention is required to create safe buildings. They know the entrances, the exits, the emergency exits and the location of their penis - sorry, fire hose.

6. Graphic designer

Arguably the sexiest builder of all time[/caption] While some builders are undeniable cat-calling pigs, there's a reason TikTok "Tradesman" have received 645.9 million views. It might be their determination to hulk piles of bricks around in white tank-tops or it could be the "work trousers" that everyone lusts over on social media. Regardless of the reason, the UK loves builders and not just because they do the heavy lifting.

4. Mechanic

There's something undeniably alluring about a grease-covered mechanic wheeling out from under a car - thanks Danny Zuko. Coming in at number four, mechanics are not only good with their hands but a wide array of tools and trinkets to streamline their performance.

3. Teacher

Currently, 11,869 videos on Pornhub are tagged with teachers, so the market is clearly there. We all had that one teacher at school everyone had a crush on and clearly that taste of discipline and the smell of whiteboard markers has transferred into adulthood.

2. Electrician

When the chemistry is electric (pardon the pun), things naturally flow in sexual encounters, leaving both parties satisfied. Electricians, who, shocker, are also good with their hands, are adept and fine-tuning intricate wires and systems, which is basically all our bodies are.
