Mum gives birth to ‘biggest baby’ as some joke he should already be paying taxes

It is rare these days to find myself feeling entirely speechless but this story has left me in that very state. For the past twenty-five minutes I have been staring at my laptop open-mouthed in a world of shock, amazement, bewilderment, and a small dose of fear. I just can't believe my eyes.

What is it that I'm looking at? Well, it's a recent TikTok which was shared by Erike Weber, who went viral just a few days ago after responding to another woman on the social media who asked users to share their stories about giving birth to 'big babies'.

Erike decided that she was a top contender for the winning medal and shared a photo of her newborn son who weighed in at an absolutely astounding 12lbs 6oz.

Honestly, look at this lad. If I was working behind a bar and he came in asking for a lager top, I'd start pouring the pint before he'd got his dummy out.

The mother of two revealed that she had given birth to her son via C-section on the advice of her doctor after it was determined at 37 weeks her baby was over 9lbs and still growing.

Erike herself explained: "So everyone keeps tagging me in this and telling me I should do this.

"At 37 weeks I went in for an ultrasound and my son was weighing in at 9lb 15oz so we scheduled for a C-section. I ended up being put into labour the day before the C-section and I still went with a C-section because the doctor highly advised that, and…

"I had a baby that was 12lbs 6oz and he came out of the hospital wearing three-month clothing, size one diapers, and now he's six months old and wearing 18-month clothing."

The video has since racked up millions of views online and viewers are just as stunned as me with many saying he looks old enough to be paying his taxes.

One person wrote: "Bro came out with a whole credit score." Another joked: "That child came at three years old."

All jokes aside, we wish Erike and her newborn the best of luck. Wow.
