This accessory will keep you in the front row at your favourite gig, even if nature comes calling.
An adult nappy, designed for people who don’t want to have to go to the loo during a gig or concert, sold out within hours of going on sale.
The Pit Diaper, manufactured by US-based canned water company Liquid Death, went on sale on 5 December and had completely sold out of stock later that same day.
Liquid Death teamed up with sanitary pad brand Depend to manufacture the item, which comes in a bold black pleather style and includes metal studs and chains.
The low-rise undergarment is also made with an adjustable waist band and comes with 52 Depend guards for men to stick on the inside.
While Liquid Death is known for its unusual range of tongue-in-cheek merchandise, the limited edition ‘gig nappies’ caught a lot of people by surprise.
Some of the other products available on their website include fortune cookies but with gruesome predictions inside, a soap designed for psychopaths and a can of drink duct-taped to a wall for £4.1m.
The Pit Diaper was available for £59 before selling out, and the firm’s promotional material for the item said: “If you’ve been to a concert, you know the scariest place isn’t the mosh pit. It’s the bathroom.
“Now you can avoid having to brave that hellscape with the new Pit Diaper,” adding that it helps fans “relieve themselves in the safety of the mosh pit”.
Ben Koller, a drummer for heavy metal band Mutoid Man who wears the diaper in the promotional video, took to X to comment on the attention both he and the product has received since its release.
Crotch thrusting in a leather diaper on Chicago local news definitely wasn’t on my 2024 Bingo Card. Life is ridiculous https://t.co/GYj8JXocXD

Earlier this year, die-hard Taylor Swift fans were strapping on diapers so as not to miss a moment of their favorite performer serenading them.
Taylor fans took to TikTok to show off their timesaving, concertgoing undergarments, with one woman saying: “The amount of stress and time it took me to get Taylor Swift tickets, I will be getting an adult diaper because I am not missing a minute of it.”
Another revealed how she struggled to get a diaper on underneath her gold dress, while another fan showed herself at the concert saying, “No one knows I’m wearing a diaper for this”.
