TikTok users were left shocked after seeing footage of a woman's head literally steaming while sat at what appears to be a sports event.
TikToker @plebfreeze, whose real name is Tracey Monique, shared the video with the caption: "Hot and Hungry. Hot Flashes are annoying and rude."
The clip has amassed nearly 10,000 views in three days, and viewers have praised Monique's openness about her symptoms.
"People shocked after seeing footage of woman's 'steaming' head due to menopause symptoms," one person wrote.
A second penned: "I’m currently going through this and I would 1000% rather have my period for the rest of my life compared to menopause symptoms."
"This should be in the menopausal handbook, so they know what we’re going through!! Bless you I feel you," a third put.
"Every woman in menopause and peri-menopause is gonna be grateful for this video," a fourth wrote.
“Every man needs to see this, so they don't think their wives are being dramatic when they say they are having a hot flash," a fifth penned.
Bupa states, via UNILAD, that hot flushes, also known as hot flashes, are common for women going through the menopause.
They are different for every person, but are generally described as a 'sudden feeling of heat spreading through your body and face.'
A hot flush can also include changes in mood and concentration, as well as a red flush spreading across your head and upper body.
