Police had to intervene when a riot broke out in a shop that was selling discounted jars of Nutella.
We're all fans of the chocolate spread, but it's hard to imagine having a fight over it. But, it seems it all became too much for some shoppers who got overly competitive when the jars were reduced from €4.50 to €1.40 in an Intermarché store in France.
Video footage obtained from the scene shows the absolute carnage that unfolded as people tried to stock up on Nutella.

Several people were injured and one shop assistant is believed to have received a black eye from the riot, while Police were called to try and calm the situation.
One person, who was present, told French media, "They are like animals. A woman had her hair pulled, an elderly lady took a box on her head, another had a bloody hand."
