Newcastle helped balance things out a little, offering a roast dinner at an average price of £13.15. Looks like the North is really the place to go if a cheap roast is what you're after.
Kirsten Bolton, from construction firm Willerby, who commissioned the survey, said: "Sundays are starting to get quite expensive.
"In days gone by a roast would set you back around £7, yet today our research shows that people are paying more than £14 on average.
"As the home of the most expensive commercial rents in the UK, it will be no surprise to learn that London is the most expensive region in the UK to order a Sunday roast. There is a massive price difference from other regions in the UK."
