Subway are offering free 6″ sandwiches if you buy a drink on Valentine’s Day

Forgotten to book a table for that romantic Valentine's meal?
Fear not, men of Britain. Subway have got you covered. Forget your roses and boxes of Milk Tray, there's nowt that says "I love you" to the special lady in your life quite like a 6" sub. And customers will be able to get their hands on a free one on Valentine's Day between the hours of 11am and 7pm. All you have to do is spend £1.50 of your hard earned cash on a large drink or bottle of water and the sandwich is yours. It is, however, also limited to one per cusotmer, so you'll either have to sit and watch her tuck into hers or make her pay for her own drink. The offer is actually nothing to do with Valentine's Day at all, and is part of the company's Customer Appreciation Day. Granted, it won't be candlelit and it also isn't available in all stores (check Subway's website to see if your nearest one is participating), but assuming all's well, we're sure she'll be absolutely delighted.
