The burger will go on sale China from December 21st onwards, although there will be a limited availability of around 400,000 Spam and Oreo Burgers in circulation.
It is set to retail for a price of ¥13.14 RMB - which works out at about £1.50.
The Spam and Oreo Burger won't be available in the Western world, but McDonalds are still planning changes to the menu in Europe and America.
A whole range of plant-based burgers will make their way to your local McDonalds at some point in 2021.
The 'McPlant' range will look to offer burgers, chicken substitutes and breakfast sandwiches, which it expects to roll out in 2021.
Last month, the CEO of McDonalds told analysts on a conference call that "Plant-based products are an ongoing consumer trend. It's not a matter of if McDonald's will get into plant-based, it's a matter of when."
