Greggs fans are going mad for the “most exciting news ever” to hit its stores.
The high street bakery chain has not only be extended its opening hours so selected branches are open later at night, but it has also launched new menu items too.
“Yep, you heard us right,” Greggs wrote on Facebook, “now loads of Greggs shops are open even later.
“And what’s more, there’s new pizzas and hot desserts, as well as your usual favourites,” it added.
Extended hours will see some an evening menu served in selected stores from 4pm onwards – allowing customers to head to Greggs for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
“Omg canny wait to have greggs for breakfast lunch and dinner now,” one fan wrote on social media, with another admitting they will have a new “late night addiction.”
A brand new, customisable pizza will be available in evening hours, with toppings including chargrill chicken, mexican chicken, pepperoni, red onion or jalapenos and mixed peppers, on top of a focaccia base.
The store’s new pizza meal deal bundle includes a boxed pizza, sharing wedges and a hot sweet, such as hot yum yum or hot pieces of doughnut with a milk chocolate or salted caramel dipping sauce.
Fans have described it as “the best news ever”, with one adding: “Hot desserts!? OK now we’re talking.”
