Burger King are bringing out chicken rings: begin salivating now

How much chicken can you handle?

Carl Anka

Considering their name, Burger King aren’t half nifty with their chicken options…

After the pioneering chicken fries, Burger King are now to be testing chicken rings. That’s chicken strips, in a ring. Like onion rings. But with chicken. For easier dipping.

Fast food innovation gets better (stranger?) and better (seriously, what is this? We’ll still eat it, but still.)

Burger King is slowly rolling out (see what we did there?) their new chicken item in stores across America, where customers can buy six chicken rings for $2.89 (£1.98).

The fast food chain has been on something of a tear in recent months, having brought home delivery to the UK, along with beer to their Waterloo train station store.

That’s not to mention its eye-watering “Angry Whopper“, with hot sauce baked right into the bun.

Much like their chicken fries experiment, if it all goes well, expect chicken fries rings to make an appearance in the UK very shortly.

It’s all rather exciting and confusing. Not to mention how it begs the question, “What exactly is wrong with chicken nuggets?”

It’s ok nuggets, we still love you. Our waistbands and wallets can cope with yet another chicken product to help us on days when we can’t be bothered to cook.
