These reports closely follow other users who took to social media to comment on the odd colouration of the sky. https://twitter.com/ScottDSearle1/status/1504062514056867843 Images from Kent show bright orange skies and in East Sussex people were forced to wipe away tangerine-coloured dust from their cars. Similar colours were visible in Spain as early as yesterday and satellite imaging has also shown similar dust cloud formations over France. https://twitter.com/jrmakd/status/1504045414676373511 Weather wizards at the Met Office say the impact is "unlikely" to be significant but dust will be considerably more visible around sunset, which is around 6pm. Don't worry though, blood rain is actually just red sediment mixing with rainwater. Not everyone was so fortunate, as seen in the Iberian Peninsula where people are being told to stay inside. People have naturally been reacting to this abnormal weather condition online where the general consensus seems to be "natural disaster" or "someone has resurrected the Mummy and he's flying over now to suck out some souls." "It's just gone proper dark and creepy outside... Dust cloud? Or some fresh new disaster approaching?" questioned one Twitter user. "To be fair the Saharan dust cloud isn't the only huge orange thing to fill the skies in recent memory…" joked another, who in all fairness, isn't wrong. https://twitter.com/tonysheps/status/1504066245079060482 Startling images from Spain look almost like Instagram filters: France is giving serious The Lion King vibes: Related links:So it is dirty rain in London right?
