WATCH: Zara Larsson trying to pronounce ‘hippopotamus’ is the funniest thing you’ll see all day

We can't stop laughing!

JOE

Hippo-whatamus?!

Zara Larsson is an insanely talented woman. Her debut international album ‘So Good’ went straight in at number 7 on the UK Charts when it was released in March of this year. It produced eight singles, including ‘Never Forget You’, ‘Ain’t My Fault’, ‘I Would Like’, ‘Symphony’, and of course the ridiculously catchy ‘Lush Life’.

The Swedish songstress writes her own songs, has already broken America, and has won numerous gongs including at the Grammis, Kids Choice Awards, and MTV Europe Music Awards. All this and she’s still only a mere teenager at 19.

The sky is the limit and it seems she can achieve anything – apart from pronouncing ‘hippopotamus’ that is. In hilarious footage going viral on social media, Larsson is asked to recount an archeological dig in 1851 in Leeds. The excavation discovered bones of an ancient hippo – this is where Zara comes hilariously unstuck.

Fair play she’s a trooper, and it is her second language, but in future we’d just stick to ‘large mammal’…
