Plot's it all about?
It has been three years since Age Of Extinction, but the world looks like a very different place to the last time we were hanging out with Wahlberg and the Autobots. While his own daughter appears to be absent from proceedings this time around, he does cross paths with Izzy (Isabela Moner), an orphan of the Chicago War from Dark Of The Moon, and together they team up with an English lord (Hopkins) who may have figured out why the Transformers keep coming back to Earth.
Michael Bay is back for the FIFTH time in the franchise, and if you're thinking there can't possibly be this much of an appetite for Transformers movies, you'd be dead wrong:
Transformers - $710 million worldwide
Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen - $836 million worldwide
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon - $1.124 billion worldwide
Transormers: Age Of Extinction - $1.104 billion worldwide
Yep, they're on to a winner, and they're well aware of it, as there at least two more films planned for 2018 and 2019 releases.
Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, Stanley Tucci, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Isabela Moner
Directed by: Michael Bay
Irish release date: 23 June
