A fair criticism of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a number of years was that they had no idea how to portray a good villain.
Then in 2018, Killmonger came along in Black Panther, and it looked like they had finally cracked the code.
Then Thanos made his first real appearance in Infinity War and that was confirmed.
Despite being the worst bad guy we've seen in the MCU in terms of damage done to our favourite characters, fans still absolutely loved every scene that he was in.
And in this brand new trailer for Avengers: Endgame, we are in his presence once again.
The trailer shows loads of new footage from the movie, including a loving embrace between Tony Stark and his wife, as well as Captain America and Iron Man sharing a nice moment, and finally a terrifying scene that shows Thanos looking powerful as ever.
He can be heard saying: "You could not live with your own failure. And where did that bring you? Back to me."
