X-men is a true Hollywood action blockbuster – but what would it look like given the wacky Wes Anderson treatment?
Luckily for us some clever YouTuber has put together this wonderful Anderson-inspired video which has got the JOE team all giddy.
The comic book classic has been re-cast as if through the unconventional eyes of the quirky American director behind cult films such as The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore and the Oscar-nominated Grand Budapest Hotel.
Respect to Patrick (H) Willems. Wes Anderson’s hallmark colour palettes, square-on camera shots, nerdy dialogue and over-wordy narration have been absolutely nailed.
