It's certainly a novel way to get bums on seats at the cinema.

Film star Jeremy Piven rocked up to watch a screening of his new film Entourage and stuck his hands in his pocket to treat everyone there. The actor, who plays the brilliant Ari Gold, bought hundreds of bags of popcorn for fans of the film and TV series. What a guy! Critics haven't been too kind about the film, which hits screens in the UK on June 19. So we presume Piven could be rolling up at a cinema near you giving out free popcorn. We'll be watching the film anyway, but could we possibly make that nachos, please?
