There's a new website that does the choosing for you - so you don't even need to think about what programme to anaesthetise your brain with next - and it's totally free.
Enter Netflix Roulette. The site basically picks a new show or film for you at random from Netflix's voluminous catalogue (which stands at 2,973 different videos in the UK).
If you are a little bit picky and you don't want to end up watching reruns of Antiques Roadshow, or anything with the Kardashians in, there are filters.
You can stick in what genre you want to watch - or alternatively if you fancy watching a film containing Alan Rickman or one by directed by the Coen Brothers then just stick it in and see what comes up.
Life just got easier.
