There’s a real-life Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry opening

We know you're excited...

You may have thought your chance to join the warding world had passed you by once your 11th birthday came and went and there was still no sign of an owl with your letter. But we have some good news for you, there's a Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry opening next year. Yes, Siriusly seriously. Harry Potter fan club Mimbulus Mimbletonia Association have arranged for Château de Jolibert in Bourgougnague, France to be transformed into Hogwarts for four days next May. According to the fan site:

"Mimbulus Mimbletonia is organising an event based on the first book in the saga, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. "Come and take part in the sorting ceremony, enrol for courses in botany, spells, potions, and of course Muggle Quidditch. Do not forget to collect points for your house, so that it can win the cup!"

Although we do have one piece of information which may dampen your plans of a trip there, all the lessons will be giving in French. The four day event will take place from May 25-28, and will be accepting just 100 people into the course. Maybe you could wow people by throwing this curveball Harry Potter theory at them, it will definitely impress them.
