Despite the fact that Breaking Bad lost a certain degree of momentum after Gus Fring was blown away at the end of Season4, this episode was the show's real ending as Rian Johnson cranked up the drama and the action. Truth be told, by the end of it, we felt like we were jacked up on crystal meth. Of course, there was Hank and Gomie in that epic standoff against the army of Neo-Nazi villains. Walt turning on Jesse would break your heart and of course, there was that epic phone call. Bryan Cranston delivered an acting masterclass in that scene. With Vince Gilligan's show celebrating its tenth anniversary this month, it's fitting to see that the superb drama has been voted by review-aggregator website Metacritic as the best TV season of all time. If pushed, this writer will always opt for The Wire - Season 4 as the best piece of TV ever made (the scene where Carver has to walk away from Randy will break your heart) but choosing a favourite TV show is like picking your favourite child. We love them all. Anyways, congrats to Breaking Bad and the other shows that made this prestigious top 10. It's worth noting that The Sopranos, The West Wing, Game of Thrones and vintage seasons of The Simpsons didn't make the grade. Anyways...Yeah Science, bitch! 10.
