Due to a power cut which overnight hit ITV's Covent Garden, This Morning, Lorraine and Loose Women were knocked off air on Wednesday.
As the Mirror reports, Susanna Reid and Ed Balls delivered the news live on Good Morning Britain.
As per ITV, a power cut overnight in the area around its Covent Garden studio knocked out the broadcasts.
To fill the gap, Good Morning Britain ran until 10am, as producers instead aired a selection of This Morning's best bits.
"We'd normally be finding out from This Morning about their show, but unfortunately there's no show", Balls told viewers.
"There's no show, but we're going to be here until 10, which is the most exciting", he added.
Meanwhile, Reid said viewers would then get the chance to "relive some of This Morning's best bits."
This Morning's own Instagram account later explained the cause.
The statement read: "Following a power cut overnight in the wider area where our Covent Garden studio is based, we are unable to broadcast Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women live today."
"We will return to our normal schedule as soon as possible."
Lorraine Kelly filmed her own update on the way to work.
"Hello there! I'm on my way to work, but there's been a bit of a hoo-ha," she said.
The presenter explained that engineers hoped to fix the fault by around 11am and told fans to watch Good Morning Britain instead.
She had been due to interview Sharleen Spiteri from Texas and said the chat would now be rescheduled.
A power cut overnight near ITV's Covent Garden studio has stopped This Morning, Lorraine and Loose Women broadcasting live.
ITV extended Good Morning Britain to cover the gap and aired highlights of This Morning in its place.
ITV has not given a fixed return time, saying only that normal programming will resume "as soon as possible."
Lorraine Kelly told fans on Instagram that she expected to be back on screen the next day.
