Pinky and The Brain are back as well

Here is our first look at new Animaniacs show coming next month. The classic 1990s cartoon is being revived for Hulu, and after a surprising lack of updates on the project, we now have a trailer. There is not much actual finished animation in there, but we get a lot of behind-the-scenes footage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZxU_YnduY4 It is not really a reboot - it feels much more like just a straight continuation from where they left off. All of the main voices are back, including Rob Paulsen (Yakko, Pinky), Jess Harnell (Wakko), Tres MacNeille (Dot), and Maurice LaMarche (the Brain). As well as the Animaniacs themselves, twe also get a preview of the new Pinky and The Brain shorts from the show. 13 new episodes of the show are due to debut on US streaming service Hulu on November 20th, with another 13 installments coming in 2021. There is no word on a UK release as of yet. Animaniacs ran from 1993 to 1998, with 99 episodes over five seasons. It was then followed by a straight-to-video movie, Wakko's Wish, released in 1999. The show was an anthology of shorts featuring various characters. The Warner siblings Wakko, Yakko and Dot were the title characters, but other segments included Pinky and The Brain, Skippy Squirrel, The Hip Hippos, and The Goodfethers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAjiKyzq9kE In 1995, Pinky and The Brain were spun-off to their own show, which would last for four seasons. The spin-off also won several Emmys, including the Outstanding Animated Program award for the episode A Pinky and the Brain Christmas in 1996. Animaniacs was part of the great wave of Warner Bros animation in the early 1990s that also included Batman The Animated SeriesTiny Toon Adventures and Freakazoid. It is just one of several classic 1990s animated shows that are set to make a comeback - Beavis and ButtheadDaria and Ren & Stimpy have all had revivals of various sorts announced recently as well.
