Following the success of Straight Outta Compton, it's hardly a surprise that sequel is already being mooted.

According to TMZ, a follow-up is already being worked on. It will pick up where N.W.A left off in the first film, heavily focusing on the careers of West Coast rappers Tupac and Snoop Dogg. snoop dogg animated GIF Although focusing primarily on the music side of things, it's expected that gang violence and its impact on the rap industry will also be discussed in the new film. Also looking at the careers of Nate Dogg, Kurupt, Daz and Warren G, the follow-up stands to have a similar impact to the record-breaking film - which looks set to continue its stay at the top of the American box office.
