It seemed like the perfect love story – the beautiful and talented starlet and his adorable pop princess. But alas Sean St Ledger and Taylor Swift aren’t the new romantics we had hoped they were.
The former Preston North End defender has moved to reassure his army of heartbroken St Ledgerites that he is NOT dating the seven-time Grammy award-winning songstress.

St Ledger, who joined MLS side Orlando City in March, was pictured with America’s sweetheart back in December, sparking rumours that the Irish defender was really good at Photoshop.
Jealous fans speculated that Taylor was merely after the stopper for his personal fortune. The journeyman’s career has included lucrative stints at Peterborough United and Stevenage Borough.
There were even suggestions that Swift’s hit single Blank Space was a tribute to her new beau’s habit of leaving large areas of the pitch vacant when attempting to play a high line.

Alas it was left to St Ledger to clarify that this love was mere speculation, whilst alluding to the fact that tall disc-jockey Calvin Harris may now be Taylor’s rebound lover.
Our advice to Miss Swift is not to have any bad blood about her spurned advances. The Ledgemeister has moved on and it’s time for her to just, well, shake it off.
