Rapper PnB Rock dead after being shot while eating in restaurant

American rapper PnB Rock has been fatally shot in a restaurant in Los Angeles. PnB Rock - real name Rakim Hasheem Allen - was dining at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles on Manchester Boulevard, on Monday 12 September, when a robbery took place at around 1.15pm. During the theft, the 30-year-old was shot 'multiple times' before being rushed to hospital, where he later passed away. During the incident, at least one suspect approached the victim and a female witness inside the restaurant while they were eating and demanded "property," Los Angeles Police Department Captain Kelly Muniz said during a press conference. She was unable to say what type of property the suspect demanded. The victim was transported to a local hospital and died at 1:59 p.m., according to Muniz. She said no one is in custody, and there is very little on the suspect description at this point. The rapper's girlfriend is reported as having posted an image onto Instagram, geotagging the pair's location. The post has since been deleted. Security footage from inside the restaurant is being analysed by investigators from the Los Angeles Police Department to try and identify the shooter, according to a source from law enforcement.
