It's so addictive that we've even got people playing during state department meetings in the US.

The information was provided to TechCrunchby Apple themselves, though exact numbers are yet to be released.

Pokemon Go received a staggered roll-out across the world after pressure on game servers followed its US release. That meant us in the UK (assuming we didn't find a crafty workaround) had to wait a few days to be able to get our hands on it.
We're not sure whether Apple has fortnightly figures at this stage, but the implied numbers already out there are already pretty eye-catching.
