As we wait for the new season of Game of Thrones to begin, there's one question on everyone's lips.

In case you were in any doubt, what follows below may contain spoilers. got spoilers They're only speculative ones, though, as we know as much as you. So, back to that question. It is, of course, whether or not Jon Snow is alive. The iconic character, played by Kit Harington, was thought to have died at the end of season five. But since then there have been plenty of suggestions we may have jumped the gun with that assumption, and the show's creators and marketing team have done plenty to tease us about his true fate. Most recently, the latest promotional poster for season six shows the man himself as one of the faces in the House of Black and White. Will Arya - or one of the faceless men - now take his place? Or was the man who died at Castle Black even really Jon Snow to begin with?
