Tastes different.

How do you solve a problem like Mary? Well, the producers have opted for a mix of the same and something completely different in an effort to appease the 14 million people that absolutely love the Great British Bake Off.

Now that it has moved over to Channel 4 and replaced Mary Berry, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins with The Mighty Boosh’s Noel Fielding, Prue Leith and Sandi Toksvig, there’s a very different feel to this adaptation.

Will the new version of Bake Off manage to match the high standards that the BBC incarnation made?

As always, the proof will be in the eating and viewing.
