Well, that was certainly something
Today, the eyes of people across the globe were on Russia for the opening ceremony of the World Cup.
The ceremony presented a chance for the world’s largest nation to showcase it's rich history and culture to millions of viewers.
So, with that in mind, who else but 82-year-old former Take That singer Robbie Williams to take centre stage, whilst various people in bizarre costumes danced around him.
As well as flipping the bird to the camera, 1997's edgiest pop star also performed 'Let Me Entertain You', 'Feel' and finally he dueted 'Angels'.
Williams had said that performing at the FIFA World Cup was "a boyhood dream" and it would be "an unforgettable show".
But the reaction he received on social media was mixed, to say the least...
