Good news for film fans, maybe not such great news for Netflix.
Paramount have decided to upload several of their films to a new verified YouTube channel, meaning that they can be viewed without paying a single penny.
With the likes of Netflix, Sky movies and Amazon Prime charging a fee to watch their content, the move by Paramount comes as a pleasant surprise.
Admittedly, the uploaded films are far from the fresh-from-the-cinema blockbusters, (have a look at the channel here) but some are suggesting that such a move could be a sign of things to come.
Although it will probably take a far bigger change to make us part with our Netflix subscriptions, if further titles start making their way on to YouTube, we might be changing our minds.
