George R. R. Martin's latest creation will be hitting your computer screens very soon, after Netflix confirmed it will be released outside the United States on 1 February.
Based on the Game of Thrones creator's novella,
Nightflyers follows eight maverick scientists and a powerful telepath who embark on an expedition to the edge of our solar system aboard The Nightflyer - a ship with a small tight knit crew and a reclusive captain - in the hope of making contact with alien life. But when terrifying and violent events begin to take place they start to question each other - and surviving the journey proves harder than anyone thought.

Showrunner Jeff Buhler is keen for Nightflyers to get a second series, as he explained to
The Verge.
"When I pitched Nightflyers, I pitched a journey that encompassed more than one season.
"The novella essentially outlines where the first season goes and leaves us in a place of total mystery... We have some opportunities to dig a bit deeper into the world."
