We’re definitely keeping our eye on Mullally.

The 21-year-old soul vocalist signed to Atlantic Records is beginning to make some serious waves. Today he unveils his new single “Sweet Coffee”, featuring London singer Bassette.

Produced by P2J (Stormzy, Lily Allen, Yungen) “Sweet Coffee” highlights the star’s powerful vocal ability positioning him as someone we should all be keeping an eye, and ear, on this year. Combining soft melodies and touching harmonies, Mullally perfectly blends his inspirations from the worlds of R&B, pop and soul, marrying them together to create a blissful all-encompassing sound.

“‘Sweet Coffee’ for me is exploring all the avenues of the analogy of someone being your ‘sweet coffee’,” explains Mullally. “How someone can wake you up and keep you awake and excited all day. It’s referencing the addiction of new love and needing to go back to the same person every morning, every day, so that your ‘sweet coffee’ can wake you up. It’s youthful, it’s happy; it’s about young new love.”

The soul crooner has truly hit the ground running having already taken on some of the country’s leading stages, including Glastonbury, Lovebox, and Reading/Leeds amongst many others. He’s also been busy providing support on tour for a bunch of your favourite artists, acts like Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne, RAYE and Clean Bandit to name a few.
