Modern Family star Sofia Vergara set for a big Simpsons role

After the death of Mrs Krabappel's voice actor Marcia Wallace in 2013, Bart Simpson has been left without a teacher.

Unfortunately for Bart, Berrera also attracts interest from Principal Skinner. "We thought it’d be interesting if both Bart and Skinner have a crush on the same woman," says executive producer Al Jean. "She feels Skinner is a wounded soul that she wants to take care of. She is a vet like Skinner, and that’s his attraction."
