Coming from the creator of Top Boy, the show also stars Helen Mirren, Joanne Froggatt, Paddy Considine and Pierce Brosnan.

Just a week after a teaser dropped for Tom Hardy's Netflix action flick Havoc, we've now gotten the first trailer for his new crime thriller series MobLand.

A Paramount+ show, MobLand was created by Ronan Bennett (The Day of the Jackal, Top Boy), with Guy Richie (The Gentleman, Snatch) on executive producing and directing duties.

This will be the first time Hardy and Richie have worked together since 2008 cult favourite RocknRolla.

The series stars Hardy, Helen Mirren (The Long Good Friday) and Pierce Brosnan (GoldenEye) as the heads of an organised crime family, fighting for power within a global crime syndicate.

The plot synopsis from Paramount+ reads: "Mobland is an electrifying, new global crime series centred around two warring families based in London whose enterprises stretch all corners of the globe and the fiercely loyal 'fixer' charged with protecting one of them at all costs."

@joedotie A blessing from the dark lord himself 🧙🏻‍♂️ Ralph Fiennes said that Cillian Murphy has the exact right qualities as an actor to play Lord Voldemort. It's been rumoured that Murphy will play 'He who shall not be named' in HBO's TV remake of the Harry Potter series 'The Hogwarts Express'. #ireland #irish #dublin #cillianmurphy #harrypotter ♬ original sound - JOE.ie

Also part of the ensemble cast is Anson Boon (Pistol), Emily Barber (Industry), Geoff Bell (Top Boy), Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy), Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Lara Pulver (Da Vinci's Demons), Lisa Dwan (Blackshore), Mandeep Dhillon (CSI: Vegas) and Paddy Considine (House Of The Dragon).

MobLand was initially announced as being a spin-off to the hit US crime thriller show Ray Donovan but was reworked during development into its own standalone series.

The show will premiere on Sunday, March 30 exclusively on Paramount+.

Set to 'Sympathy for the Devil' by the Rolling Stones, you can check out MobLand's first trailer below.
