Magnum P.I. star Roger E. Mosley dead at 83 following car crash

He had been in a critical condition since Thursday

Actor Roger E. Mosley, best known for his role as the pilot Theodore "TC" Calvin on Magnum, P.I. has died age 83 following a car crash on Thursday, August 4. The prolific actor, who starred in hit shows throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s, passed away as a result of his injuries on Sunday as per an announcement by his daughter. He was left in a critical condition and paralysed from the shoulders down following the collision, also first reported by his daughter on Facebook on Saturday. It is time to celebrate the legacy he left for us all. "I love you daddy. You loved me too. My heart is heavy but I am strong. I will care for mommy, your love of almost 60 years. You raised me well and she is in good hands. Rest easy." In addition to Magnum, P.I., Mosley was also known for roles such as Coach Ricketts in the 90s sitcom Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, as well as appearances in Sanford and Son, Love Boat, Kojak; The Rockford Files, Starsky and Hutch" and many many more.
