Line of Duty will be returning for its fifth season very soon, and the BBC have now confirmed its return date: March 31.
"The fans have already called it. Confirming for the record, Line of Duty Series 5 starts on Sunday 31st March on BBC One and BBC iPlayer," BBC One's official Twitter account posted on Monday evening.

The announcement was made with an animation of a mysterious poster, with stars Martin Compston, Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure linked together with handcuffs.
“Crime needs an inside man,” the poster states, dropping a hint at the storyline for season 5.
The drama, which follows police anti-corruption unit AC-12 is widely regarded as one of the BBC's best shows for its intricate storylines and exceptional acting.
Filming for season 5 began in September last year, and will be hitting your TV screen in just 12 days' time.
