Whenever a fan of the brilliant
Derry Girls meets a member of the cast, we really hope that they have the exact same enthusiasm and happiness that Orla had when she said "Oh my God! It's the polar bear".
We're only halfway through the most recent season of Lisa McGee's wonderful comedy and after learning that Protestants keep toasters in cupboards and seeing Clare get hammered, London-based fans of the show can have their own
This and That Take That moment because the BFI and Radio Times are hosting a
Derry Girls evening.
Granted, unlike the gang's trip to see Gary Barlow and co., we don't think you'll encounter the bomb squad, a rogue polar bear, and a dead sheep, but you never know!
As for the panel, Lisa McGee (writer/creator) will be there alongside Saoirse-Monica Jackson (Erin), Dylan Llewellyn (James), Louisa Harland (Orla) and Siobhan McSweeney (Sister Michael).
Tickets cost £25 but there's a cheaper rate for anyone that's a BFI member.
Tickets go on sale to BFI Champions on 19 March. The general public can purchase tickets now.
If you're interested in going - or if you know anyone that loves the show and is living in London - you can find
more information here.
If you're living in London, wise up and head along.
