ITV viewers are raving about the channel’s latest ‘addictive’ series to hit screens.

However, there is one terrestrial series that has left viewers raving.

The show follows two couples who are told that their children were accidentally switched at birth.

This leads them into the question of whether they should continue to look after the children they raised thinking they were their own, or whether to swap back.

However, when Playing Nice aired over the weekend, and many viewers took to social media to praise the show.

One person wrote: “#PlayingNice was a little bit good wasn’t it? Brilliant cast and a story that totally hooks you in. Will definitely be watching more. Can’t wait to see how it all plays out.”

“Binged all of@ITVX’s #PlayingNice and it is fantastic! So glad it ended the way it did because I’ve never felt such hatred for a certain character before,” another penned.

“May have to binge watch #PlayingNice cos I can’t wait for this horrific man to get his comeuppance,” a third put.

James McArdle, who stars in the show, spoke to Radio Times about a ‘switch’ in the second half of the show.

“There’s a switch in the second half of the series where… and I’m not giving anything away or anything, but it gets a lot darker, especially between the two of them [Maddie and Miles],” he said.

“From the midpoint of the season, it does change, and it did feel like two halves. Like more of the domestic, shallow sort of niggles you do to each other, and the second half of the series, there was an interaction between the two of us that’s quite surprising.”

The four-part series is available to stream in its entirety right now on ITVX.
