We all love watching Kevin McAllister defend his home from The Wet Bandits while simultaneously tearing it apart – but have you ever stopped to wonder how much it would cost to repair all the damages?
According to home improvement budgeting site Billed It, the McAllisters would have to fork out £1,180 for Kevin’s shenanigans.
According to Billed It, the costs are from hiring a carpenter to replace the broken door and shelves (£200), getting in a decorator for three days of replacing wallpaper and painting the walls (£540) and finally bringing in a builder to repair the walls and remove the tar from the stairs (£440).
While it might seem like a lot for an eight-year-old to cover, we have a feeling that Kevin might find a way to stump up the cash.
