Fans of Stephen King’s It will appreciate just how creepy and perfect this prank is

We all float down here. Can you imagine this outside your own home?

Even before a single second of footage was released, film fans were eagerly anticipating the return of Pennywise in the remake of It and as we all know, the trailer didn’t disappoint.

There’s a reason why Andres Muschetti’s remake broke the record for the most views in 24 hours because try as we do, there’s no escaping the fact we’re all drawn to those films that absolutely terrified us as children.

Hands up if you can still remember Candyman or Hellraiser with intimate detail. Why is this? Well, there’s something haunting, nostalgic and magnetically-creepy about those horror films that can still send a shiver down your spine.

Yes, the original mini-series wasn’t perfect, but Tim Curry’s performance as Pennywise was.

Need proof? Well, an entire generation is still creeped the f**k out by the idea of looking into a sewer. How’s that for proof.

Bearing this in mind, a Reddit user by the name of Yetti22 found a opening in a sidewalk in his town and he didn’t miss an opportunity to scare the living hell out of his neighbours.
