Fan footage of latest Fast and Furious stunt looks extremely dangerous (but cool as f*ck)

It also looks extremely cool

Who doesn’t love a good explosion?

The Fast and Furious film franchise has been built on the simple assumption that the only thing cooler than watching fast cars go really fast is seeing those cars explode sometimes too. And eight films into its run, it doesn’t seem like anything has changed.

Due to be released in April of next year, filming is currently underway for Fast 8, starring Fast and Furious stalwarts like Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson. Although the movie is due to be set in New York, scenes are currently being shot in the Ohio city of Cleveland.

And if this footage shot from a building right beside the set is anything to go by, Fast 8 promises to be as explosive as its many, super-sized predecessors.

While we’re sure the filmmakers made every effort to inform the locals of the upcoming filming, you just know that there was one unfortunate passerby who had heard no warning before watching cars come crashing out of a building and exploding on the streets of their city.

Hopefully it wasn’t too distressing for them.

Meanwhile, The Rock has been training hard for Fast 8, but today a photo was released of him in the ring with Anthony Joshua in promotion of his new film, Central Intelligence, which also stars Kevin Hart.
