Elon Musk’s ‘satanic’ Halloween costume causes backlash

The Chief Twit is now the Devil’s champion

Having scared everyone in Twitter within an inch of their jobs – by firing a string of top execs and dissolved the board amid suggestions mass layoffs are on the way – Elon Musk chose a rather fitting outfit this Halloween.

The world’s wealthiest man selected the Devil’s Champion-Leather Armour set, retailing for $7,500, for his fit.

The red and black outfit has a Baphomet carved into the chest plate with an upside down cross between its horns. And it didn’t go unnoticed.

Musk was pictured arriving at Heidi Klum’s Halloween party in the Samurai-style costume – with jeans and t-shirt underneath – as reports emerge that he is preparing to cut close to 2,000 Twitter jobs, amounting to around 25 per cent of its workforce.

The ‘Chief Twit’ looked rather pleased with himself in the outfit and happily hammed it up fo the cameras showing that – on social media at least – he is all powerful.

The outfit reportedly came from high-end costume store, Abracadabra NYC. At the time of writing, the website says there is only one costume left in stock. It has been reduced to $1,000.

Earlier in the evening, Musk shared a picture of him and his mother, Maye Musk, in their getups on Twitter.

He also shared a photo of his pet Shiba Inu wearing a shirt with the Twitter logo, sitting next to a pumpkin with the platform’s logo carved out

Maye accompanied her son to Heidi’s party, as she did the Met Gala in May.

That same month Maye filmed an episode of the German edition of Next Top Model alongside Klum.

Musk’s Twitter snap sparked some debate on his choice of outfit.

One person wrote: “What’s up with the satanic symbolism bro?”

Another suggested Musk has showed where his “allegiance lies”.
