Coronation Street fans criticise the show for ‘ridiculous’ cast change

It was difficult to miss.

Coronation Street viewers were quick to point out a noticeable difference in one of the show's younger characters on Monday evening. Fizz's daughter, Hope, is now being played by a new young actress - something many of the show's fans were already aware of before Monday's episode aired on ITV. However, many of those watching were surprised by how different in appearance the new Hope was to her predecessors. Hope had been played by twins Faith and Nicole Holt since 2012. As seen below she has straight, blonde hair. But now they've opted for a change and have cast Isabella Flanagan for the role, who has brown curly hair. Isabella's mother and father both tweeted about her new role.

Actors get swapped out very frequently, especially when it comes to children. Despite this, viewers appeared confused at the change - many of them criticising it.
