Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy will return to UK cinemas for one day this month

It's kind of a big deal

Rich Cooper

We’re all in a glass case of emotion at the news that Anchorman is coming back to UK cinemas

Possibly the most quotable movie of all time, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy was the kind of film that you’d watch over and over and over and over and over and over again. And then one more time.

Good news, then. The 2004 comedy classic is coming back to UK cinemas for one night only to support a very good cause. Ticket prices include a £1 donation to Movember – if you’ve noticed more men with moustaches (or attempting to grow moustaches), that’s what Movember is all about.

November 30 is the date, so pop it in your diary and get your mates onboard.

Money raised will go to The Movember Foundation, which raises money and generally does good stuff for a number of men’s health issues, including testicular and prostate cancer.

Tickets are exclusively available through crowdsourced cinema platform ourscreen. Head to the link to see if there’s a screening happening near you. The catch, with it being crowdsourced, is that if each screening doesn’t meet its goal, it won’t go ahead. Not enough tickets sold = no Anchorman for you.

So if you want to get involved, make sure you get tickets by Sunday November 25.

Of course, this is also an excellent opportunity for you to show off your hard-earned moustaches, dress up in your finest and loudest suits, and do Ron Burgundy justice.
