Good Girls actress comes out as pansexual
Good Girls actress Mae Whitman has come out as pansexual following the release of the Disney show The Owl House.
The actress has starred in numerous roles throughout her career including various appearances in animated shows like Young Justice, Invincible, Family Guy, and American Dad. Whitman has also starred in the teenage film The Duff alongside Bella Thorne and Robbie Amell.

Whitman is currently starring in Disney’s The Owl House, an animation drenched in fantasy, comedy, and of course LGBTQ+ representation. The children’s animation is the first to show an openly bisexual lead, and now it even has an explicitly non-binary character.
Taking to Twitter, the American actress wrote: “Just taking a moment to say I am SO proud to be even a small part of a show like The Owl House.
“Being pansexual myself, I wish I had such incredible characters like Amity and Luz in my life when I was growing up.

What does it mean to be pansexual?
Sexuality is inherently unique to the individual, but general explanations do encompass what it means to be a certain sexuality. For instance, Bisexuality is usually confused with Pansexuality because many of the same attributes are shared by both groups. However, bisexuality is usually referred to as the attraction to more than one gender, most commonly male or female.
I know ppl might be unfamiliar with what pansexual means; for me it means I know I can fall in love with people of all genders. This is the word that fits me best 🌈 and I’m proud+happy to be part of the Bi+ community :,)

Pansexuality, however is described as an attraction regardless of gender. Pansexual people also tend to be attracted to those who don’t subscribe to gender at all.
To break it down as simply as possible, gender or sex does not dictate who pansexual people are attracted to.
