Dry your eyes, Love Island fans: Alex and Montana are no longer an item.

Having spent the time since leaving the villa denying rumours that they'd split up, the pair each confirmed that they had decided to go their separate ways in a pair of tweets sent on Tuesday morning.Devastating news, we're sure you all agree. Montana was first to tweet the news, with Alex following shortly after.
