Police have arrested four men who are due to appear in court
A British woman has allegedly been gang-raped by a group of around eight men after meeting them at a Greek nightclub.
The unnamed victim, 31, says she and her friends met the men, from Belgium, at a nightclub in Faliraki, Rhodes, during a night out on the island on September 4.
According to a report by local media, Dimokratiki, the woman made a complaint at the Archangelos police station in Rhodes at 7am on Monday.
She told police the men, all aged between 30 and 35, allegedly took her and her friends to a hotel where she had consensual sex with one of them on the balcony and the room.
But later, after her friend left, the woman told police the men gang-raped her.
Police arrested four Belgian suspects who were identified by the victim as her alleged attackers.
A forensic examination of the men, who deny the charge, has been taken as investigations continue to find the others said to be involved in the attack, local media reports.
The men are due to appear in court.
