Zlatan Ibrahimovic keen on Man United switch, but only if Louis van Gaal is given the boot

We know Zlatan Ibrahimovic's days in Paris (statue permitting) are numbered, but the talk of him moving to Old Trafford in the summer appeared to be nothing more than paper talk.

But thanks to Sky Sports News, the flames of such a rumour have been well and truly fanned on Monday afternoon. The news that the Swede was keen on a move to Manchester United was given the full-blown yellow bar breaking news treatment on the sport-dedicated news station.

His willingness to make the switch hinges on one significant factor, however. Sky's trusty sources claim that Zlatan would only be willing to make the move if Louis van Gaal is shown the door. After defeat at Spurs left United's hopes of Champions League football next season in tatters, perhaps we could see Ibrahimovic in a United shirt when August rolls around.
