Miller had been treated for several minutes on the field after the injury, before eventually being taken to hospital.
Bears head coach John Fox appeared cautiously optimistic about Miller when speaking on Monday.
"He is not out of the woods, but he is as good as he can be at this stage," she said.
"He's got a good pulse in his lower leg and good feeling in his foot, " he added.
Asked if Miller is there was still a danger of him losing his leg, Fox said: "I am not a doctor, but I feel good about where he is right now."
